Dental Projects
In the past six years of operation, dental clinics have been held in schools and orphanages in Kathmandu and the Everest region of Nepal, Vietnam, India and most recently in Guatemala. To reach children most in need, we adopt school age populations in charity sponsored schools and orphanages.

Each child receives complete dental care including cleaning, treatment planning, extractions and restoration of permanent teeth and individual toothbrush instruction. Dental projects return to each site every two years to maintain continuous care for our adopted populations. So far, over 23,000 children have been served with continuing care.

Volunteer in Nicaragua or Nepal with Namlo and GHE!
We have joined forces with the Namlo Foundation, a non-profit organization that builds schools in Nepal and Nicaragua. Namlo has an amazing commitment to the communities where they build schools. Once the school in complete, Namlo is committed to working with the community for five years to assist teachers with curriculum, offer adult education classes, help community members identify business opportunities, and teach the community how to manage the school from the ground up.

This commitment helps the community to be self sufficient, instead of relying on charity to sustain their school. Our volunteers will be assisting in the building of new schools, working with the children and working with teachers to help them develop a curriculum and teaching plan for the students. The first project will take place from October 20 - 29, 2007 in Nicaragua. We only have ten spaces on this project, so if you are interested call or e-mail now to secure your space. 2008 project dates for Nepal and Nicaragua are currently being finalized, so be sure to check with our office in the next few weeks for 2008 dates.
